Hi, I’m Penny – so glad you’re here.
I am an adventurer. I was born and raised on a farm in rural Pennsylvania in a very conservative, Christian family. My father also owned a family business. Growing up we learned to work hard and although I graduated valedictorian, I never felt like I was enough… not good enough, not smart enough, not pretty enough, not thin enough, etc. I married my sweetheart at age 18, and soon we were consumed by his family business. We were so caught up in “doing” we forgot how to “be.” It wasn’t until we both took yearlong leadership classes in 2016 that we realized we had choices. It was then that my passion to coach and help others determine their mission, vision, values and to live intentionally was born.
For the last 35 years, I have worn many hats in support of the family business; from laborer, bookkeeper and human resources roles to currently serving as the vice president and co-owner for the last 18 years. I have led and coached people in small groups and have headed up the leadership growth of our family business.
I recently completed Professional Christian Coaching Institutes Certified Professional Life and Leadership Coach requirements. I also have certifications in fitness and nutrition, Perspectives on the World Christian Movement, Light University's Advanced Certificate in Christian Life Coaching and Caring for People God's Way.
In 2018, I started my coaching business to fulfill my own dreams and passions with the mission to help you discover a life of purpose and to be the best leader, parent, spouse, and self you can be. To help you get unstuck and move forward toward the goals that really matter to you.
In wanting to use my coaching to serve others, I have discovered how beneficial it is for me and I’d love the opportunity to share that experience with you. I want you to realize how valued and unique you truly are!
Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your father. Even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. Matthew 10:29
